Be still my beating heart!!! Apparently our favorite author, Cassandra Clare, is going to be teaming up with YA authors Sarah Rees Brennan (Unspoken, Team Human) and Maureen Johnson (The Name of the Star, 13 Little Blue Envelopes) to write a new short story cycle titled, The Bane Chronicles.

If you haven't figured it out, the Bane in the title is our favorite glittery warlock, Magnus Bane!! You may now begin the celebration at this news:

Starting in February, one story in the cycle will be released every month in e-book format leading up to The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones movie. There will then be a single print edition in 2014!
