Tatiana Blackthorn née Lightwood is sister of Gabriel and Gideon Lightwood.  She married Rupert Blackthorn a few months before the start of Clockwork Prince and was on her honeymoon with him for most of the book.

BiographyEdit

Early LifeEdit

When she was twelve, she had a huge crush on Will Herondale. At a Christmas party at the Institute, Will found her diary, containing poems of her love for him and even wrote herself as "Tatiana Herondale". Will read it out loud in front of all the guests and embarrassed her deeply. Gabriel, her brother tried to hurt Will for embarrassing her so, but Will hurt him instead by breaking Gabriel's arm, creating strong dislike between each other.

Clockwork PrinceEdit

The Lightwoods mention that Tatiana was due to return from traveling with her husband, implying that she had gotten over Will.

Clockwork PrincessEdit

After her honeymoon, Tatiana and her husband return and decide to pay a visit to her father, Benedict. Not knowing that Benedict had demon pox and was now in the final stage, turning into a demon, Tatiana and Rupert are attacked when they arrive. Rupert is carried away by the demon worm that was once the Lightwoods' father, while Tatiana screams in terror and shock.

She later finds Will, Jem, Tessa and Cecily who have come to help her brothers fight off the worm and stays with them while they search for Benedict and Rupert. They find Rupert's mutilated body and Tatiana is left in hysterics and is carried away to safety by Tessa.

After the death of her husband, she continues to live with the Blackthorn family. It is mentioned by Gabriel that Tatiana is pregnant.

Ironcially, her son, Jesse, marries Will Herondale's daughter.
