Taki's Diner is a supernatural restaurant that many Shadowhunters and Downworlders hang out and eat at. It offers food (and beverages) for all of their varied clientele. Aside from a mundane menu, there is also a section of blood for vampires and raw meat for werewolves. It also apparently serves faerie food that tend to "make humans a little crazy".

The restaurant is guarded by ifrits.

After Clary Fray and Jace Wayland rescue Simon Lewis from the Hotel Dumort, Jace calls Alec and Isabelle Lightwood for a meeting.

Jace also mentions in City of Bones not to order the Faerie food as "It tends to make humans a little crazy. One minute you're munching a faerie plum, the next minute you're running naked down Madison Avenue with antlers on your head. Not, that this has ever happened to me."

City of Lost SoulsEdit

Simon Lewis meets Clary Fray in the diner, where she gives him the faery rings that allow them to talk telepathically with the other wearer. They discuss Clary's plan to go over to 'Team Bad' with Sebastian and Jace (who are in a demonic parabatai alliance).
