Jemima West, born 11 August 1987 in Paris, is a French-British actress who is best known for her role in the television series Brothel as Rose. She will be playing Isabelle Lightwood in the upcoming City of Bones movie.

BiographyEdit

Jemima West is a Franco-British actress, born in Paris, and began an early career as an actress when she was only 10 years old when she appeared in the series Josephine: Guardian Angel. She later had a role in the movie, Joan of Arc, in 1999. She appeared in the short film Maïwenn. She has appeared in many television movies, French (Madam Principal, Ben et Thomas, Camping Paradis,...) or Canadian (The Company of Ice). She landed a recurring role on 15A, a Canadian series. She also speaks French, and is bilingual. In 2007, she joined Method Acting, an acting school. The same year, she played in the video for Tony Parker's "First Love". It is her role in the famous television series Brothel broadcast on the French channel, Canal +, that made her known to the public. She plays Rose, a young girl who arrives in Paris in the late nineteenth century and finds herself enlisted in a brothel. Season 2 was broadcasted in 2013.
