Godfrey Gao (Gao Yi Xiang 高以翔) (born September 22, 1984) is a Taiwanese-Canadian model and actor. He has appeared in several TV shows, mainly in Taiwan. He plays Magnus Bane in The Mortal Instruments Movie Production: City of Bones.

Godfrey was born to a Malaysian mother and Taiwanese father.

He moved to Vancouver, Canada when he was nine years old.

Out of seventy Asian men who auditioned, Godfrey was chosen to play Magnus Bane.
